CELEBRATION and ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Board Member Position Vacancies If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering with our Board of Directors, please review the position descriptions and let us know your interests.  There are still a number of positions vacant.  The more people we have involved with the association the better able we are to deliver a more effective soccer program.

On line registration - will take place March 2010.  Register early to avoid late fees.  Please note several age groups will be capped to ensure good team sizes – so avoid disappointment and register early.  Watch our website and school announcements for the online registration go live date.

The Point Fundraiser - The Point Improvement Committee is holding a fundraiser Dance and Silent Auction on Saturday, February 13^th, 2010 at Sydenham High School.  Two local bands, Bauder Road and Still Standing, are performing at this event.  1:00 a.m. Doors open at 8:00, dance ends at  A late night buffet will be served.  Bus rides home will be available at 1:00 a.m. to the following destinations; Verona, Harrowsmith, Sydenham, and Inverary areas.  Tickets are $15.00 per person and can be purchased at Sydenham One Stop and Mill Street Pizzeria.

The first phase of The Point improvements will include upgrading the sports field; upgrading the practice field; building a utility building; and lighting the sports field.  Other improvements for future phases include a field house containing change rooms, washrooms, storage, and a meeting room; a community gazebo; and improvements to the beach area.
